LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). James is known for his role as King James and is considered to be among the most successful basketball players in history. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships as well as Four NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of the distinction of having two Olympic Gold medals. James is an NBA All-Star and has the highest number of playoff points. He also has with the second most points in his career total and the seventh best career assist total. It is a NBA record that he has been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. In total, he has been a part of the 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. This includes eight straight from 2011 to 2018. James was named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. James became the first NBA player with 10,000 points, rebound and assists in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a potential NBA superstar. As a prep to pro it was his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick during the NBA draft in 2003. In his time as the NBA rookie of the year 2004 he established himself rapidly as one of the best players in the league, winning the NBA MVP award for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. James failed to win the award with Cleveland, and left the city as"a "free agent" in 2010. This decision was made by the television show The Decision.
